Zhangjiajie Forest Park
张家界国家森林公园面积130平方公里，是中国第一个国家森林公园。地貌奇特，石峰林立，形态各异，树木茂盛 ；高入云霄、顶端开阔平坦、气势雄壮。张家界国家森林公园可划分为黄石寨、琵琶溪、金鞭溪、鹞子寨、畲刀沟、袁家界等六个小景区。

畲刀沟位于金鞭溪中游北侧的一处峡谷，因昔日山民在此砍火畲、种包谷而名。峡谷呈“V”形，宽二三十米。
谷中溪水发源于袁家界，由西北流向东南，于紫草潭注入金鞭溪，全长5公里。
沿溪而上，有清心潭、无情峰、五女拜帅、百鸟乐园等主要景点。
